Meet Atty. Jose Paez
Experienced Criminal Defense Attorney
Jose Paez is an experienced criminal defense attorney in Fort Lauderdale, specializing in cases from misdemeanors to serious felonies. A University of Miami Law graduate, he previously prosecuted hundreds of cases at the Broward State Attorney’s Office. Fluent in Spanish, Mr. Paez is a published author and a former Executive Board member of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He earned the 2021 Hat Trick Award for three consecutive not-guilty verdicts.
Atty. Jose Paez has been appointed to the Board of Directors
of the Broward County Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Section for the 2026 term.
